Samsung Galaxy S24 Base Variant Tipped to Come With Slower UFS 3.1 Storage

Samsung is set to release its Galaxy S24 lineup next year, featuring new chipsets and designs. However, it is rumored that the vanilla Galaxy S24 model will come with slower UFS 3.1 storage as a cost-cutting measure. The rest of the lineup is expected to feature faster UFS 4.0 storage.

A recent post by South Korean blog Naver suggests that the 128GB version of the Galaxy S24 will indeed come with UFS 3.1 storage, while the other variants will have UFS 4.0 storage. UFS 4.0 offers faster speeds and power efficiency compared to UFS 3.1.
