Apple unveiled its first mixed-reality headset, the Apple Vision Pro, at its annual developer conference. The headset, called a ‘spatial computer,’ allows users to interact with a virtual UI overlaid on the real world. It runs visionOS and has an ultra-high-resolution dual display system. The Vision Pro is intended for both entertainment and work purposes and is expected to have its own App Store. It can be powered by a power source or an external battery pack for up to 2 hours of use. The headset is set to hit store shelves in late January or early February 2024.
